it’s here. jahshua is his name is finally an actual thing.
i have finally created a space to comfortably share my work— in the way that i see my work.
at the suggestion of my good friend carletta, i decided to commemorate this moment by participating in a year-long self-portrait series to coincide with the launch of this site.
andré wagner began a self-portrait series several years back and truly inspired (and continues to) my own examination of self. the entire series will be posted on my flickr account while some of the photos in this series will be also be posted across other social media platforms.
with a mix of digital, film, instant, and mobile photography, writing (and [other] mixed media), this series will be used to experiment and explore my understanding of [self] portraits and hopefully continue to push me as a photographer and artist.
